Description
Normal Hexane (n-Hexane) may be what you need.
Simple Solvents n-Hexane (97%) is among the highest purity available on the market. It is intended for use in industrial processes, including the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, supplements, foods, and cosmetics. This product is primarily used and marketed as a botanical extraction and purification solvent. Additionally, n-Hexane is used for organic synthesis. It is increasingly popular due to low residual solvent levels and extremely high recovery rates if the correct equipment is used.
n-Hexane is relatively stable, essentially non-reactive, and a quickly evaporated solvent. It is a straight-chain alkane consisting of 6 carbon atoms. It is widely applied in laboratories as a non-polar solvent.
This product is not for human consumption. Users should avoid direct contact with this chemical.

NFPA Hazard Classification
Flammability: 3 (Serious) This degree includes Class IB and IC flammable liquids and materials that can be easily ignited under almost all normal temperature conditions. Water may be ineffective in controlling or extinguishing fires in such materials.
Instability: 0 (Minimal) This degree includes materials that are normally stable, even under fire exposure conditions, and that do not react with water. Normal fire fighting procedures may be used.
